Power in Prayer

First off, Merry Christmas to you all.

I woke up and started praying. How often do we wake up and check social media or text messages. I got up and started praying for people around the world and for people that don’t have food, clothing, shelter.

Prayer is necessary in this time. We are living in the last days and PRAYER is our weapon. Prayer really changes things.

I love to listen to Dr. Charles Stanley and he talks about how we are to get on our knees- often times on our face and pray. That shows God that we are surendering everything in prayer.

We have to shut all the distractions out, cut the noise out, turn off the tv, put down the phones and pray. Only YOU know what YOU are going through. We are approaching the end of the year and I don’t know about you but I’m expecting God to do some miracles in these last few days of the year. 6 days for God to do something miraculous and amazing in our lives if we believe and have FAITH.

God created the world in 6 days, we have 6 days left in this year and I’m expecting Him to answer just one of my prayers but He likes to do above and beyond so I’m already giving Him thanks for that answered prayer! Praise God!!!! I love you Lord!!! Thank you for JESUS!!!!! (when praises go up, blessings come down!)

Lord help us to put any expectations down that aren’t for us, and let us be content with where we are right now. Let us draw close to you in this time. You fill every void and give us JOY unspeakable.

I love and adore you Jesus.

Amen. God bless you all.

When God Says No

Thinking to myself today as I was on a walk this morning… God knows every hair on our heads. He knows our thoughts and most importantly; He knows our hearts. I asked myself, If God knows our hearts, then He knows our hearts desires.

Psalms 37:4-5 says “Delights yourself in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; Trust also in him; And he shall bring it to pass.”

In this scripture, knowing that God will give us the desires of our hearts really put me at ease this morning as I thought about things arising that I’ve been in prayer about.

If we delight ourselves in the Lord, aka get happy, get joyful, seek him, study His word, we will begin to have the desires that He would have for us. We wouldn’t desire things of the flesh and the world. We wouldn’t desire things that unknowingly would put us in hurt, harm or danger.

As I continued my walk I said this to God “if you say NO, that’s because YOU KNOW.” It was so clear after that. If I’m asking God for something, and He denies it or tells me NO, that means He knows that what I’m asking for isn’t something that He would want to give me or let me have. God knows the depths of our hearts, emotions and desires.

Moving forward, I’m not going to trip when God says no, or when He shuts a door, or when there is rejection. Man’s rejection could very well be Gods protection.

I trust God, because God knows what’s best for ME.

Make this personal to yourself, God knows what He is doing. ❤

Have a blessed weekend, I love you all!

Right now…

I was laying in bed the other morning and I began to pray and just thank God for the RIGHT NOW. We get so ahead of God and start praying for the future and all the things we need and how we need it and when we need it… and my prayer was just – “thank you Lord for RIGHT now… “

Because in this RIGHT NOW moment, I’m alive, I’m healthy, I got what I need, I’m breathing, my mind is right , in this RIGHT NOW moment I feel you because your love and mercy has kept me.

Praise God for your right now. ❤️

Give it over to God… in prayer.

Today if you are going through a tough time, remember who can help you in the midst of any storm.

God often times will allow trials and tribulations to come your way in order to draw you closer to Him. Life can get really busy and we can unintentionally put God, our FIRST love on the back burner.

God then allows conflict, tragedy, storms, offense, heartbreak, sickness to come upon us to get our attention, slow us down, or simply just draw us closer to Him.

He’s the only person from experience that I know that has gotten me out of the muck and mire. He’s the only person that I know who has healed my body. He’s the only person I know that can restore a broken place. He’s the only person I know who can heal a marriage. He’s the only person I know who can be a friend when all friends leave. He’s the only person I know who can show you favor when all odds are against you.

God can and God will! Put that in your spirit today and don’t let the enemy or even yourself make you think other wise.

God said He is for you and not against you.

He is close to the broken-hearted.

He will come through for you. I can’t even count on hands and feet how many times God has came through for me when I couldn’t see a way out.

He’s no respecter of persons. So that means, if He did it for me- He can and will do it for YOU.

Give it to God, put it in His hands, the ONE and only who can turn any situation around for YOUR GOOD. ❤️🙏🏼

With much love,

Jasmine

God is making ALL things new❤️

In love …

Prayer: Father, I love what you are doing in our hearts and minds. I love how you accept us as we are, but you love and care too much to let us stay as we are. We want to grow. We want to do things your way. We want to live free to enjoy life as you have it. Help us, Father, to keep a clean heart, and an empty sink. Help us either let it go or address it in love. Forgive us for holding on to things. We receive your love, your forgiveness, and your help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Read Matthew 5:8; 1 Peter 4:7-8; Psalms 51:10)

Peace in the midst of the storm

God will allow things to happen in our lives to stretch us, prune us and build character in us.

We must make sure we keep our eyes and hearts towards Him & trust the process of His divine time tables.

We can’t get ahead of God. Trust that He is working behind the scenes on YOUR behalf to work everything out for your good. (Romans 8:28).

Fasting & prayer is essential always but in the hour it’s NECESSARY. It’s going to quiet your flesh and keep you grounded and immovable in the word of the Lord.

Keep seeking God, keep rejoicing & God is going to see you through this. ❤️🙏💕

Receive the gift

…how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! Romans 5:17

If you see yourself as unworthy, as not measuring up, as undeserving of God’s grace, the problem is that you’re not receiving the gift of righteousness. The accuser will tell you that you’ve made too many mistakes, you’ve failed too many times, and you’ll never get it right. But the Scripture speaks of how God has made you righteous because of what Christ has done. “Righteous” means “to be holy, blameless, honorable.” It doesn’t say you’re going to be righteous one day when you’re good enough, but God says, “You are My holy, righteous, blameless, honorable, anointed, amazing child right now.” Who are you going to believe? Are you going to let the accuser deceive you into carrying the guilt and going around being against yourself? Start receiving the gift.

You might be weighed down with heaviness, with regrets, with a sense of unworthiness, but you can unload all that right now. If you give up your guilt, your regrets, and your unworthiness, God will give you His righteousness.

A Prayer for Today“Father, thank You that I am under the open windows of heaven. Thank You that You are pouring out blessings so abundant that I won’t have room enough to receive it all. I believe and declare that You are going to rain down favor, good breaks, and creativity. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Happy Saturday !

Good morning folks! Welcome back to my blog. I thank you guys for continuing to read and go along this journey with me.

This morning as I woke up and wanted to clean. I find cleaning very therapeutic for me. This particular Saturday I have a couch that is being delivered and it’s scheduled to be delivered between the hours of 10am and 2pm. The delivery company called me about 0915 and told me that the delivery truck was going to be late. When I got the news I got upset because I said “this is my whole day and I don’t want to be waiting on the truck all day in my place”. I immediately got upset and frustrated and then the Holy Spirit checked me and said “why can’t you just wait and be patient?”

How many times we get upset and frustrated over things that we can’t control? Immediately peace came over me and I said God I thank you for the patience that you’ve had with me. Let me have that same patience for the delivery company. It may sound minute, But this is a real life thing. So many times we get frustrated over things that we can’t control, and we find ourselves bent out of shape, trippin & need to just sit down and be still.

So I decided I’m going to enjoy my Saturday of just relaxing, talking to God and it provoked me to make this blog post. God is amazing he works all things together for our good. (Romans 8:28) I hope this blog helps you guys today, and trust in the timing of your life, and trust in being patient when you have to wait. Good things come to those who wait.

Blessings,

Jasmine
