Redeemed- to compensate for the faults or bad aspects of something. | to do something that compensates for poor past performance or behavior. God placed this on my heart to share this morning. I don’t think people truly realize the beauty of the God of all creation. He loves us unconditionally. He loves us in spite of our flaws and sin. Jesus died on the cross for us to have the opportunity to ask for forgiveness and receive Him as our Lord and savior. God redeems us for all our past mistakes, wrong doings, poor performance and all the rest. This photo was taken a few weeks after rededicating my life to Jesus Christ some years back. It was a simple yes to follow God and believe that He would restore, heal and mold me into the woman of God He predestined me to be. On the flip side I could have said a stubborn “no” and continued LIVING in sin and and my selfish ways. Now don’t get me wrong, we will always sin-but theres a difference between falling short and living in sin. (Another sermon) I’m learning that obedience/disobedience isn’t only going to affect ourselves, it affects the lives of others. I had to make a decision that would not only change my life- but it had a huge impact on everyone around me and the beautiful souls I would touch proceeding my new journey. I encourage you all to believe in yourselves and know that with God, all things are possible! Enjoy life and remember that God has a plan for you even when you don’t think so! Accept Him today! He’s waiting to heal every broken piece and restore you! In addition, wholeness comes from Jesus- not man, not a spouse, not a job, not a promotion – God gives us the peace that surpasses all understanding.
