Finding rest…

Hey guys!

Happy post Resurrection Sunday!

Praise God for Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. Allowing us to have an opportunity to spend eternity with Him. Allowing us to be FORGIVEN and to become WHOLE in Christ.

This past week has been one of the most challenging weeks of my life. I received some not so sweet information- and I received it at the early part of the week so you can only imagine how the rest of the week went.

As I went through the week, I would dwell on the news, and waiver back and forth about either trusting God or just being weary and crying over spilled milk. I made it to Wednesday and I was able to connect and meet up with one of my sisters in Christ/ spiritual mothers- I shared with her what was going on and immediately she gave me a word that opened my heart to truly trust God during the good the bad and the ugly.

We sat in the car for a few hours before bible study and prayed and thanked God for what He has done and what he will do.

So many times we look at these trials, bad news and challenges as something that is defeating. We must realize that we should be thankful for situations as such. First and foremost they draw us closer to God and they keep us on our knees.

God always has a way of getting our attention.

We must also remember that when we are faced with something challenging or trying [trials] it doesn’t mean that God is mad at us or God is punishing us, we must realize that these very “opportunities” : trials/tests/challenges are going to grow us up and help us spiritually grow.

Some times God will allow certain things to happen just so that in the end, when He see’s us through it- He can get ALL the glory.

I don’t know who that was for but stay encouraged and Trust God through it all.

It may be an ugly season right now in your life but Trust God. The rain don’t last forever- the Sun is bound to come out.

I also want to encourage you all to find rest during your busy schedules.

Take out time to read a book, get a massage or just walk around the park. I feel that there are others who are busy busy busy and just seem to be ripping and running.

Stop. Chill out and Rest.

I love you guys! Keep pressing towards the mark and know that God is with you everywhere you go!

He’s fighting your battles as long as you let Him.

Love you!

BE the Light,

Jasmine ❤
