Message sent to me by one of my sisters in Christ .
“I was always taught about sin and death and disobedience as a kid. But its totally different as a Christian. It takes away fruit but not salvation. Dying in sin is to be an unbeliever. The commandments of God are to love Him and others. When James talks about faith without works is dead, He talks about the law of love, not moral capabilities as legalism would say. But to keep Gods commandments is to stay close in relationship to Him and His Spirit (John 14:15). People tend to point to the 10 commandments of God, but they were summarized in the New Covenant in which God made and fulfilled in Genesis.”

Let’s not get it twisted tho, we have grace and mercy. But God said if you know better do better.
Because to know better and you don’t, that’s a sin.
Don’t allow the enemy to keep you down and discouraged in your walk when you backslide and fall short.
Pick yourself up , repent and thank Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins!! Our transgressions !
The enemy wants you to believe the lie that God is mad at you and that you can’t overcome that strugggle or weakness. But that’s when you quote scripture
John 3:16 for God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son! For our sins!!
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ he who strengthens me!
God is good and his love never leaves us! His mercy endures a lifetime!
