Let’s be Virtuous Women

The Lord has placed this topic on my heart to speak on today, so I must be obedient. Keep in mind that he is speaking through me, directing me, guiding me in exactly what to say. So this is none of me, But all of Him. I hear people all the time “Girl you are so good .. that was an amazing blog.” Thank you but I can’t take ANY of the credit. This is all of God, He is just using me as a vessel. Praise God.

So i’ve been feeling in my heart lately that a lot of us women have been dealing with a lot of self identity. Wondering who we are, and whose we are and what’s our purpose and what is it that we are to be doing in this life because it just HAS to be more than what it has been. Some of us are in jobs that we don’t even enjoy being at and constantly question “is this even where i’m called to be?” Some of us are in states that we are questioning ourselves like “this small little town can’t be where God has called me to be and pursue all that he wants me to do- I need to move.” Some of us are in relationships with folk wondering if this is even who God has ordained/approved for me to be with. So all of that being said we have LOTS OF QUESTIONS.

1 Corinthians 14:33 God is not an author of Confusion but of PEACE, as in all the churches of the saints. Some of yal need to read this verse about 2-3 times to really get what the Lord is about. Anything that is of God, you will have peace about. God doesn’t want us over here worrying about this, worrying about that. Instead he said to cast all your cares and worries to him and he will give you rest. Give that job to God, let him show you what you should do. Give that thought of moving to a bigger city/State to him and he will open up a door for you to move. Give that Man to God that you think could be your husband but you aren’t completely sold on and at peace about. God will show you and tell you all that you need to know. But you MUST surrender it all to him. We gotta stop trying to figure all these things out on our own. What in the world do we pray for? What in the world is God there for if we don’t want to invite him in to help us make decisions and help us to get through things!

Man let me get back on topic, Yal know how I can get off topic and end up going left with the message lol. Work with me =) So back to this having Self Identity. It is VITAL that you know WHO you are, and WHOSE you are before making any type of decisions. You are capable of being a VIRTUOUS woman sis. And a lot of us are going around and have no idea HOW PRECIOUS we are. God sees us at Queens and Princesses and we are seeing ourselves as just a piece of meat, worthless, not good enough, not worthy enough. The DEVIL IS A LIAR. Jesus brought you with a PRICE that no man could even buy you with and that was with HIS LIFE! What man do you know that will die for you? What man do you know that will get hung up on a cross and nailed to death for you? What man do you know that will be mocked and spit on and beat on for you? I’ma tell you right now; there ain’t nobody that I can think of in THIS world that would or could do that.

Proverbs 31:10-31 says

¹⁰ Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. – Man you can’t buy me! I’m priceless

¹¹ The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

¹² She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

¹³ She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.- She works hard for her family! 

¹⁴ She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

¹⁵ She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

¹⁶ She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

¹⁷ She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. – She is STRONG!

¹⁸ She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

¹⁹ She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

²⁰ She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. –SHE HELPS OUT EVERYBODY

³¹ Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Ladies! God said we are Queens! If you don’t know this, how are you going to be able to convince Ray Ray when he comes up to you talking to you any old kinda way. How are you going to convince Joe Joe and Billy Ray that you are a Virtuous Woman when you showing everything that the Lord blessed you with, in these tight clothes, short skirts and low cut shirts? But you claiming to be a Proverbs 31 Woman? Man by my OWN personal experiences, I remember back in my unsaved days... yes I haven’t always been saved haha. Back in them unsaved days I would have “Proverbs 31 woman ” in my bio on Myspace, Instagram and Facebook. But was my actions lining up with what I was proclaiming to be? Girl byeeee. I was more like a Proverbs 37 woman haha; and if you try to find that scripture you ain’t gone find it because there is NO SUCH THING. I wasn’t portraying myself as a Proverbs 31 woman, I was out ripping and running and just having a good time. I wasn’t thinking about the Lord. But as soon as the Lord got my attention and called me on home and said “My daughter that is worth more than rubies, it’s time to stop all the foolery and really seek me.” God got my attention alright, I had to hit rock bottom and he has a way of getting your attention and all you can do is to straighten up. I’m telling you, Me turning my life to Christ and following him has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I FOUND myself in him. I Knew what he said I was in him. You are a princess, You are a queen, You are worth more than rubies. Baby girl you are Priceless. 

When you know Who you are and Whose you are, you ain’t going to be looking for folk to give you validation.Can’t NOBODY tell you something you ALREADY know.  I don’t need nobody to tell me “girl you look good” “girl you mighty fine” “girl you are a wonderful woman of God” “girl you are a good thing” Because I already know what My father [The Lord] has told me. When you know what you are worth, you will not just settle for any ol thing that comes around the corner. You have STANDARDS. We got to stand for something or we will fall for anything. I used to always here folk so “you attract what you are” And I thought about that thing, I’m asking myself back in the day when I was unsaved, “Why is June-Bug and Lil Ray Ray always coming up to me, pants saggin and smoking on something, cursing hollering at me like “ayo wassup girl can I get yo digits, you so d#mn fine” And sadly back in the day I thought that was cool lol. But Lord thank you Jesus for your love and grace to save me and give me some identity. NOW A DAYS, I don’t attract folk like that to come up to me. Guys come correct when they approach me. Not saying anything is wrong with them other folk, but i’m keeping it transparent and as real as I can be sisters. You attract what you are.” And Men recognize what you are too. If you walking around switching as hard as you can so they can see you- of course they going to stop you and get them digits and have intentions to do Lord knows what. And Men also recognize elegance and worth and class. Do you think a man is going to come yelling and hollering at you from across the room if he sees that you are Standing tall, dressed very modest,[leaving something for the imagination as my mom would say]. I highly doubt that June-Bug and Lil tony going to be doing any of that because they know what a real Virtuous woman look like. They are intimidated of you. They will be scared to approach you.

You got to know your worth sisters. You got to know that you are beautiful. You are strong. You are made as a queen. You are somebody’s Wife. You are not just somebody’s “have fun girl”. You are somebody’s Help meet. Drop all those guys that are treating you less that what you deserve, Drop all those guys who are talking to you like you are worthless, Drop all those guys who don’t RECOGNIZE a pearl because he is used to pigs. It’s time for some soul searching and some praying and allow God to love on you and give you EVERYTHING that you thought man could do for you. Even when women get married, our Husbands can’t do for us what only God can do. They don’t have that much power to heal us in the broken areas, to fix places in our souls that are damaged from previous situations.

Ask God to come into your lives and to show you WHO you are and what he has called you to do and be. Time is running out. These are the LAST DAYS and God is waiting and ready for his Queens to come back to him and to surrender EVERYTHING so that he can finally show you WHO AND WHOSE you are in Him. We have to make that decision NOW to focus on him and ONLY him. Yes it’s going to be hard at first but thats why we have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us to show us the way, to comfort us when we are sad and miss that person, to Help us when we want to give up. This Christian life is going to cost you something. If it was easy then everybody would be doing it. It says in Matthew 7:13 That the narrow path is the way to the Kingdom, its going to be hard and ONLY few will find it. But the broad path is going to lead people to hell and destruction.” It’s going to cost you some heartbreaks, some falling outs with people, some headaches, some loneliness, some brokeness, pain, enduring some things, some sacrifices, disappointments, haters, rejection, years. But in the end it will all be worth it. God will now allow you to do all these things FOR HIM in vain. You keep on fighting and knowing your worth and he is going to reward you.

Father God, Thank you for your love. Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for letting me know how precious and special that I was. Lord thank you for giving me another chance to get things right and to Trust in your Grace to help me to to focus on you, I can’t do this in my OWN strength but i’m relying on you to help me through this all. Lord remind me daily how beautiful I am, remind me how much i’m worth, You said that My worth is far above rubies. Lord I am priceless! Lord thank you for sending your son to die for ME! I DIDN’T Deserve it but he did it. Lord help me to stay away from anything or anyone that is going to hinder my blessings and keep me from pursing all that you have CALLED me to do. And Lord let YOUR precious will be done in my life. In Jesus Name, Amen.
